Forgeling Notes
Record the meeting. Keep the recording.
Somebody in the meeting is taking notes and therefore not really in the meeting. That person ends up with a page of fragments and a follow-up email they write from memory two days later.
Forgeling Notes records the call, transcribes it, and drafts the write-up. You stay in the conversation, and the recording stays on your machine.
What it does
The short version
Recording, transcription and speaker separation happen in one pass, on this machine. No audio is uploaded to be processed, because there is nowhere for it to be uploaded to. From the transcript, Notes drafts a summary and pulls decisions and action items out into their own lists, because those are the parts anybody actually reads.
The summary is the one step that wants a model, and you choose it. On machines that can run one locally, it never leaves either. Otherwise it goes through a key you own, billed by whoever already bills you.
Past meetings stay searchable, so when a client asks what was agreed in March you can find the sentence instead of arguing from memory.
All of it exports: the audio, the transcript and the summary, in formats other tools can read. That matters more than it sounds. A tool you can leave is a tool you can trust, and the only way to prove you can leave is to make the door obvious.
Recording, transcription and speaker separation all run on your own hardware. The audio does not go anywhere to be processed.
The summary can run locally as well, or through your own key: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini AI Studio, OpenRouter, or anything that speaks the OpenAI API.
Decisions and action items come out as their own lists, because those are the parts anybody actually reads.
Search across past meetings when you need the sentence somebody actually said.
Export the audio, the transcript and the summary whenever you want, in formats other tools can read. Leaving is a file copy, not a support ticket.
Buy the license once. Updates arrive automatically, and support renews yearly only if you want it.
